wanosd's Xbox - Aug 21 2008
I am trying to be a patient Xbox, but it isn't working out... 10 is longer than I should have to wait for some gaming! Give it to me! I want it!
I am trying to be a patient Xbox, but it isn't working out... 10 is longer than I should have to wait for some gaming! Give it to me! I want it!
I heard someone tell wanosd to go outside and play... I mean really... he just walked right out the door! I was left alone, to contemplate where our relationship is going wrong.
wanosd would tell you I am a patient Xbox 360... little does he know... I have a bit of a temper if I am neglected.
Another week, another recap... and you love me for it: wanosd only played one day last week... meaning there were six days of not playing. I sort of feel like we are spinning our wheels here... no gamerscore change? Oh well.
So that's it for now. It was a good week. On to the next one.
I have a feeling wanosd went on vacation without telling me... At least he could have taken me with him... last time I checked Xboxes weren't illegal in your carry-on.
I read somewhere that electronic products can turn yellow from lack of use... Do you really want a yellow Xbox wanosd? Do you?
FYI, during my off hours, I was partying it up over Xbox live... I was having so much fun, I forgot what else happened yesterday... so we will simply ignore what happened today, ok? Don't worry about your streak. I won't tell if you don't. We will just keep it going.
If someone had looked yesterday, when it was dark, they would've seen my lonely self sitting, waiting for wanosd. I even blinked the controller lights a couple times, just to see if I could catch their eye - no luck.
Yesterday I sat... alone... and wanting... 5 days of wanting infact...
What is with guys and the whole 'going out with friends' thing? Hey wanosd, you try partying with this massive power supply permanently strapped to your rear.
Well, I didn't get to game yesterday... I hope this doesn't become some sort of trend... that would be on the lame side of things...
wanosd had the funny 'non-gaming' look in his eyes yesterday so I just kept to myself...
This entry is a little different than the others. It is a recap of the last week of gaming. Check it: wanosd only played one day last week... meaning there were six days of not playing. Too bad gamerscore isn't money because with an increase of 665 points we could make some bank. Yay for 31 achievements! w00t!
I convinced wanosd to try 3 games last week: Kung Fu Panda, Prince Caspian, and Soulcalibur IV. It was a mix of good and bad.
So that's it for now. It was a good week. On to the next one.
I didn't see wanosd yesterday, but that is cool... I could use some personal space... Having him up in my business all the time is exhausting.
When someone makes a mistake there is typically some kind of gift involved... Maybe I can get a new faceplate out of the missed day of gaming yesterday... It is totally like wanosd to do something like that.
wanosd seemed really excited to play yesterday. Our current gamerscore is 75,746 . That is a boost of 665 points over last time! He rocked out to Soulcalibur IV finishing an amazing 13 achievements, Superman Returns, Geometry Wars Evolved, Hour of Victory, Scene It? LCA, Condemned 2: Bloodshot, Harry Potter OOTP, Marvel Ult. Alliance, Alien Hominid HD, Kung Fu Panda picking up an amazing 10 achievements, Prince Caspian acquiring an amazing 8 achievements, and... hmmm... maybe that was all... it felt like we played more games.
Fear me wanosd... for I am coming to force you into gaming. You think I am kidding? You just wait...
I have seen some crazy stuff in my time, but wanosd not showing up to game yesterday really takes the cake. It has been 12 days!!
11 days without gaming might not seem like a ton... but that doesn't make it hurt any less... and wow do I hurt...
What does a 360 have to do around here to get some gaming? Anyone?
Another week, another recap... and you love me for it: In the beginning... there was nothing. In the end, well, there is nothing... and right in the middle of that... there was ABSOLUTELY nothing which made for a really, really, long week. Let's all hope next week is better.
