Ok, here it is... your weekly recap of gaming: It is a good one! Sharpshooter139 had seven days of gaming! In a row! I know! Crazy! We added 170 points of gamerscore. Good stuff! Who knew 9 achievements could be worth that much? Ok I knew that...

I was feeling a little bored last week and pestered Sharpshooter139 to try a new game: Bankshot Billiards 2. It wasn't as cool as I thought it would be. Oh, and Sharpshooter139 seems obsessed with first-person shooters lately... You can tell because BF: Bad Company was the favorite last week. He played it on 3 of the days.

I thought Sharpshooter139 just wanted to listen to music or watch a DVD. Turns out he was there to game. With a gamer score of 44,002, I should have known that was the case. That is a gain of 100 points over last time! Another day, another milestone. The 44,000 barrier has fallen! He played All Pro Football 2K8 winning 1 achievement, and I think there was some random Live Marketplace browsing, but I wasn't paying attention. | permalink

Someone ask for a weekly recap? Even if you didn't, here it is: If you are an Xbox, you might be jealous that Sharpshooter139 showed up to game 6 days this last week. Happy happy joy joy! We added 315 points of gamerscore. Points are good! Those 16 achievements were worth it I guess!

I was also pretty happy about the 2 new games this last week. They were (in no particular order) Soulcalibur IV, and Worms. I liked them. I think Sharpshooter139 did too. Also, according to the records, Sharpshooter139 must have been craving some FPS action because BF: Bad Company was the weekly favorite. He played it on 4 of the days.

There are people out there who think video games are violent. But after Sharpshooter139 played yesterday with his gamerscore of 43,832 points, there wasn't any violence at all. He played Soulcalibur IV gaining 2 achievements, BF: Bad Company, and then Sharpshooter139 went to get some food. I told him to bring me back something but I got seriously dissed. | permalink

Sharpshooter139 had to choose between watching TV and playing with me and I am happy to say I won... this time... Gamerscore is at 43,817 points. That is a profit of 60 points over last time! He made some progress on BF: Bad Company, Worms, Soulcalibur IV acquiring 5 achievements, Blue Dragon, and loved every minute of it in high definition glory!

I also want to bring up that there are good gamers, and there are bad gamers. I hope it was a misunderstanding, but Sharpshooter139's gamer reputation went down a little bit yesterday. Hopefully this is not the start of something evil. | permalink

He rocked out to Burnout Paradise adding 3 achievements, Geometry Wars Evolved, BF: Bad Company, Marvel Ult. Alliance picking up 3 achievements, and then nothing... nothing at all...

Also, I don't want to be alarmed or anything, but Sharpshooter139's gamer reputation went down yesterday. Sharpshooter139, if you are reading this, I really hope you weren't TKing or glitching man... don't be that guy. | permalink

Watch closely because here comes the recap... if you aren't paying attention, you might miss it: If Sharpshooter139 plays 6 days every week, I guess I can call this a good deal. Many Xboxes have it a lot worse. We added 160 points of gamerscore. Points are good! Those 10 achievements were worth it I guess! Oh, and Sharpshooter139 seems obsessed with racing games lately... You can tell because GRID was the favorite last week. He played it on 3 of the days.
